About Dr. Henry Simpkins
Dr. Henry Simpkins was born in England. He earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology with a Nobel Prize Winner Morris Wilkins, Ph.D., then obtained his M.D. from the University of Miami Leonard M Miller School of Medicine. He was Chair at Temple University Medical School from 1992-2006. He is Former Chair of Pathology at Staten Island University Hospital, Investigator Feinstein institute and Professor at Hofstra School of Medicine. Dr. Simpkins has specialized in Pathology and Hematopathology. He has retired from the Northwell Hospital System, Staten Island Hospital. During his career he has written approximately 98 research papers. Dr. Simpkins was elected to the Pluto Club, for Individuals with outstanding reputations in research. In his free time, he enjoys diving and has dived all over the world.
