About Dr. Matthew Harris
Dr. Matthew Harris attended Loyola University in Maryland and went on to obtain his Medical (M.D.) and Business (M.B.A.) Degrees from the University at Buffalo, NY. He completed a General Surgery Internship, Orthopedic Residency and Chief Residency at New York Medical College. Dr. Harris is an Orthopedic Surgeon, Founder and Director of Joint Preservation & Limb Reconstruction Center. He was the first Surgeon in the United States to use Johnson & Johnson MAXFRAME and the first Surgeon to perform Limb Lengthening in the U.S. Dr. Harris received the Jane Platt White Medical Society Recognition Award and was in the Microbiology Honors Program at the University of Buffalo School of Medicine. Dr. Harris' research has been presented at numerous conferences at the regional and national levels, as well as, in eight countries outside the US. His work has also been published in numerous peer-reviewed scientific journals. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the International Society of Hip Arthroscopy. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family and travel.
