About Mary Rose Pearo
Mary Rose Pearo received her Diploma from Boston City Hospital. She was an ER Charge Nurse at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham and has since retired. She specialized in ER nursing, triage, patient care, running the ER, lecturing. She has been training Girl Scout leaders and has 53 years as a member and has been preparing girls to empower themselves. She has a Gold Award and a tribute brick on the leadership walkway at Cedar Hill Center. Mary has many articles in EMS Journal and is Author of a booklet on GSA ceremonies. She is a member of the Girl Scouts of America, ANA, MNA, National Bylaws Committee of Emergency Nurses Association and Delegate to the GSA National Convention.
