Chattanooga, TN - T. Maxfield Bahner has been honored as a VIP in the Global Who's Who for outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of Law. 

About T. Maxfield Bahner

Mr. Bahner received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1960 and his B.S. from Carson-Newman College in 1954. His practice concentration is primarily in complex litigation, with focus on, arbitration and mediation, commercial litigation, insurance defense, litigation and risk management, media and intellectual property litigation. His trial experience includes successful defense of large cases involving trade regulation, indemnity claims and other commercial lawsuits, including complex contractual issues and trade regulation matters. Mr. Bahner is an AAA arbitrator and also a Rule 31 certified mediator. He has received many honors and awards including the Bruce C. Bailey Volunteer Lawyer of the Year, Business TN Top 150 Lawyers, Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America, Top 100 Lawyers by the Global Who's Who. Mr. Bahner also has an AVVO rating of 10.0 and is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He is past president of the Chattanooga and Tennessee Bar Associations and served nearly 17 years in the American Bar Association House of Delegates, leading the Tennessee delegation for nine years. He also served on the Board of Governors of the American Bar Association for three years and on the Executive Committee of the Board of Governors during his last year on the Board. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family, friends, travel, reading, hiking and working out.
